Hi, I’m Angela. I’m a working mom of three and have always been interested in alternative healing methods. I became more serious about living a more natural state of life once I had my first kiddo in 2014. Patty likes to joke that I was born a hippy with patchouli running through my veins instead of blood. She might be right. I really fell in love with herbalism when I attended a beginners course in Grand Marais in 2021. I was hooked and found my passion for listening to what the earth is trying to share to support healing physically and spiritually. I searched for a way to provide an outlet to serve on her behalf.

I found my path to help others heal in a more natural way by creating Rootstock Herbals. My goal is to share my knowledge to serve others so they can have the power to do this on their own.

Hi, I’m Patty. I’ve been managing my health issues in life through lifestyle changes since my second child was born in 2010. I was having IBS symptoms and suspected my diet was the problem, but I wanted to be sure, so I went to my doc. He ran a bunch of tests as the first phase of what was going on while I was supposed to just wait and see what he had to say. I didn’t have the patience.

I went home that day and instead decided to run an experiment. I started my first Whole30 the next morning and felt better the next day. That’s not an exaggeration. I was hooked. No meds. Just nutritious food. Ever since then I’ve done countless hours of research on how to feel better while getting back to my roots as a human and have run several self-experiments since.

My latest research has been in herbalism, which just so happens to be Angela’s natural gift and passion.
